Social Media & Marketing Design
We are looking for an enthusiastic social media marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help develop brand awareness. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing social media content for our clients. You will be responsible for monitoring and posting on our social media networks with the opportunity to put your own flare into your work, which you can include in your professional portfolio for future work.
As a social media marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire social media marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You will also develop important event planning skills, useful for any future career. Responsibilities
· Help distribute marketing materials
· Work with the Marketing Manager to create and implement marketing campaigns
· Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands
· Maintain records of previous posts
· Monitor analytics with marketing team to identify viable ideas
· Design engaging social media content
· Perform market analysis and research on competition
· Help organise marketing events
· Provide support to our marketing team at events
· Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
Requirements
· Previous graphic design experience in order to design social media posts
· Previous experience using Facebook and Instagram
· Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
· Basic understanding of different marketing techniques
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office
· License and experience in using Abode Creative Suite
· Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
· Ability to work in a team
